地は、20年以上の経験値が必要とされる職人の操作により、丁寧かつ緻密に編み立てられる希少素材。その独自の機械構造と編み組織は、編み立て時、糸に引っ張りを全く与えず、糸本来の柔らかな風合いを活かしたまま、ゆっくりと密度を詰めて編むことが出来るため、現代の高速機で編まれた同素材の生地よりも、肌当たり、密度、伸縮性、耐久性、風合いに優れた生地として作り上げることが可能となり、太番手の綿
糸を用い、吊り編み機で時間をかけ編み上げた肉厚のある生地は、長く着ることができ、肌当たりも優れるため着心地も良く、着続けていく程に増していく生地風合いも楽しめる上質な素材となっています。
形は、年代の古いミリタリー Tシャツから着想を得たソリッドクルーネック。衿には特殊な編み機で一人分づつ編み上げた贅沢なジャガード編みのヴィンテージネックを採用。肩は伸びを抑制させるバインダーテーピングで補強された手間を要するディテールデザイン。
縫製は、熟練技術者による 4本針フラットシーム縫製、細幅の 2本針縫製等で縫い代の凹凸を抑え着心地の良さを高めた手間を要するクラシカルなステッチワークもポイントとなる仕様。
シルエットは、身幅、袖周りに程よいゆとりを持たせ、一枚着、インナー使いともに着やすく着心地も考慮したベーシックなレギュラーフィット。

This short-sleeved T-shirt series uses "Loopwheeled Jersey," a rare circular knit fabric that Wakayama proudly presents to the world.

The fabric is a thick, 100% cotton "Loopwheeled Jersey," slowly knitted on a rare "old-fashioned loopwheel knitting machine," which was introduced to Japan in the early 1900s and of which only about 200 are still in operation in Wakayama today. Compared to modern high-speed knitting machines, the fabric is knitted at a slow speed of only about 1/20th, resulting in extremely low productivity.

This rare material is carefully and meticulously knitted by craftsmen with over 20 years of experience. Its unique machine structure and knitting technique allow for slow, dense knitting without applying any tension to the yarn during the knitting process, preserving the yarn's natural softness. This results in a fabric superior to that produced on modern high-speed machines of the same material, offering superior feel, density, elasticity, durability, and texture. The thick cotton yarn, knitted slowly on a loopwheel knitting machine, creates a substantial fabric that can be worn for a long time, offering excellent comfort and a superior feel against the skin. The fabric's texture improves with continued wear, making it a truly high-quality material.

The design is a solid crew neck inspired by vintage military T-shirts. The collar features a luxurious jacquard knit vintage neck, hand-knitted on a special machine. The shoulders are reinforced with binder taping to prevent stretching, a time-consuming detail.

The stitching is also a key feature, with skilled technicians employing four-needle flat seam stitching and narrow two-needle stitching to minimize seam allowance irregularities and enhance comfort. The silhouette is a basic regular fit with just the right amount of room in the body and sleeves, making it easy to wear both on its own and as an inner layer, while also prioritizing comfort.
